With a view to assist international students, Kashmir University has established International Students Centre in the Allama Iqbal Library in collaboration with the Department of Students Welfare of University.  It aims to cater to the needs of foreign student’s scholars pursuing  courses in  University of Kashmir . The students/scholars of the University who want to go abroad for their further studies are also assisted and  are provided the information regarding the International fellowships/scholarships at international platform and research guidance. The International student Centre (ISC) acts as the nodal agency that coordinates all the support related to the admission and welfare of the student. 


The International student Centre (ISC) provides a variety of quality services and programs to international students and scholars of different Countries and addresses the social and academic concerns of international students via interaction in different forms.  ISC offers Internet/browsing service to the students and adequate assistance is provided to access information on the web. It is a vibrant centre where activities like book reviews, video conferencing, film screening, face-to-face discussions with eminent personalities are conducted. The centre has these unique features like:---

  • Single Window
  • Networking, Interfacing
  • Wireless connectivity
  • Interaction on-arrival reception and orientation program

In addition, the books on International Issues like Conflict, Gender, International affairs, International Law, Global warming etc. to make the students of our university aware about International issues.
