The National Digital Library of India Club (NDLI Club) serves as an enabler of academic and career progression for students, researchers, job seekers, and lifelong learners. NDLI Clubs are established in educational institutions and nodal organizations to conduct academic and skill-development activities that help participants acquire knowledge, competencies, and professional attributes beyond the regular curriculum. These activities may be conducted in either physical or virtual mode through the NDLI Club portal.

A comprehensive online training programme on Member Registration under the NDLI Club was conducted by the National Digital Library of India (NDLI) on 29 July 2026 in collaboration with the Allama Iqbal Library. The programme focused on the process of institutional member registration, management of the NDLI Club portal, and the procedures for enrolling students, faculty members, and staff as NDLI Club members.

The training programme was attended by the officials of the E-Resources Centre, Allama Iqbal Library, including Professional Assistants, Junior Professional Assistants, and members of the Library's Technical Team. The participants actively engaged in the interactive training session and gained practical knowledge of the member registration workflow, administration of the NDLI Club portal, and the effective utilization of NDLI Club services for promoting academic engagement within the University.

The programme is expected to facilitate the smooth registration of University students, research scholars and faculty members under the NDLI Club and strengthen the University's efforts towards enhancing access to digital learning resources and promoting academic and research excellence.
