The Allama Iqbal Library in collaboration with Centre For Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE), New Delhi organised “one day training / information literacy programme on ProwessIQ and Economic Outlook databases” on Wednesday, 04^th September 2024 at Ibn Khaldun Auditorium.  At the very outset, Dr. M. Ishaq Lone (Sr. Asstt. Librarian)  presented the welcome address and thereafter, Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Loan, Librarian, Allama Iqbal Library presented the keynote address and spoke about the importance of such programs and its benefits for the research community of University.

The expert from CMIE, namely Mr. Rajeev Ranjan (Assistant Vice President, CMIE) gave detailed presentation on the working of ProwessIQ and Economic Outlook databases.

A good number of participants from various departments like Dept. of Economics, Commerce, Management Studies Statistics, Sociology, Social Work, CCAS, IKS, SACMS etc. participated in the training program.

At the end, Dr. M. Ishaq Lone (Sr. Asstt. Librarian) presented the vote of thanks.
